I'm Chris, I have a heart for open source, love for the terminal 🖥️ and I automate everything possible
💡 I believe everything is just an application - don't be intimidated by interfaces, they also just do exec() underneath 😈

🧠 What I do (or did in the past)

  • 🔧 tinker with RHEL, Alma, Ubuntu systems
  • 🧪 automate with Ansible, Bash and Python (learning GO in my spare time)
  • 🐳 sometimes manage container chaos
  • 🐘 administer PostgreSQL, occasionally peek into MongoDB and Redis
  • 📡 send metrics and logs wherever needed — Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana... the list is endless 😵‍💫

  • My favorite editor is vim (but I don't force anyone to use it... maybe 😈)
  • I have more aliases in my .bashrc than lines in my CV
  • GUI only as a last resort, but sometimes I give in for virt-manager 😅
